Rating : - Harmony One 2 Month Review The remote operates as advertised. The setup is easy using the Logitech software once installed on your computer and the remote is connected to the computer via a provided USB cable. The software allows you to setup functions such as watch TV, watch a DVD, etc. and places a button on the remote's touch screen. Touch that button on the remote's touch screen while pointing the remote at the equipment and everything is selected for what you want to do.
What I find VERY helpful is the unit's ability to help correct a device not turning on or switching inputs. Our equipment is not placed optimally for line of sight for the IR beam so somtimes not everything turns on or switches. The remote has a help feature that steps you through "fixing" the issue.
The remote is easy to handle.
The battery life is very good. I have had it out of it's charging cradle for 6 days and there is still plenty of battery left. I attribute the battery life to the "sleep mode". The unit wakes up when you pick it up so the display and the lighted controls are not always on.
One remote for everything and all of the functions are available for each device.
I think it is a good choice.
