I purchased this as a gift for my mother. She is extremely non-tech savy (e.g. can barely use a cell phone), so the ease of use was a huge factor for me. Also, she takes a picture of everything, so low cost of ownership was another consideration (currently around $.27/print). All things put together, this was the best pick.
I am surprised (in a good way) by the durability of this printer. She had previously owned a Kodak photo printer, but it didn't make it more than a year. She has had this for around a year and a half, and has put somewhere near 600 picture through it. So far, no issues at all.
She loves it. It's easy to use. Has worked fine with a handful of different camera brands (via USB cable). It's a pretty good little photo printer.
